My January Favourites.

Throughout January I’ve purchased a few beauty products and I wanted to show y’all my favourites!

Beauty on a budget is my motto and these products do not disappoint!

I bought a massive Soap and Glory set in the sales and after hearing so much praise about their eyeliner, I decided to buy one!

The Supercat Eyeliner Pen:

When I first tried it, I was amazed at how precise and thin it was! It makes for the perfect cat eye too. However, I wouldn’t say it’s the best I have ever used. It is dark and very neat but after a few hours it leaves smudges on the tops of your eye lids. I’m not sure if it’s just me but that’s what happened. I would definitely recommend it to anyone though. I wouldn’t usually spend £6 on eyeliner either but I used my Boots card to get some discount on it!

The next thing I love is this…

No7 Lash Impact Mascara:

I received this in a set Kane bought me for Christmas but I finally started using in January after opening everything properly and I must say, I love it! The brush is clump-free and definitely gives your lashes impact. It makes them look long and thick and almost like you’re wearing fake lashes. I’m not sure how much it would cost on it’s own but because it was free for me, I’m taking full advantage of it!

The next thing I didn’t even know I needed until I saw it.

Essence Soo Glow! Highlighter:

As you can see, I have been using this. I saw this on the make up counter when I was just having a browse and I though: “Hmm, I wonder…” So I just bought it. Then trying it, I was amazed at how sparkly and light it was. It feels oh so soft and just gives a slight glow to wherever you apply it. I just dab a little on my cheekbones and voila! Instant fairy. I can’t remember exactly how much but I think it was about £3.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Cherry scent:

If you know me then you know I love cherries which was half the reason I bought this. I needed some dry shampoo anyway so when I saw this baby, I knew it was fate. It smells absolutely delicious and it keeps your hair looking fresh for days. The only thing I dislike is that powdery feeling on your hands when you touch your hair but hey, better than grease! It was only £2 from Asda!

I’m always on the hunt for new lippy…

Seventeen Stay Pout in Fond Farewell shade:

I kind of bought this by accident really. Seventeen was on 3 for 2 at Boots and I was buying my usual concealer and mascara anyway so I just needed something to fill that void; but I actually love it! It’s not too light and not too dark and looks lovely with just about anything. It feels so soft and light on your lips and the outer casing is pretty too! I got this free anyway but it was supposed to be £4.99 which, for me, is a little pricey.

Yes another eyeliner.

Essence Liquid Ink Eyeliner in Black:

I got this because not only do I love Essence but I wanted a liquid that would stay put and remain dark and precise all day and it does just that! The applicator brush is so thin and precise which makes it perfect for the everyday look. It really does look like you’ve drawn your liner on with a fountain pen (which sounds ridiculous) but it’s so dark and perfect. One of my definite favourites! I think it was about £3 and from the Essence range in Wilkos.

So there we are! My favourite beauty buys in January. I’ll be back soon with some more of my favourites.
