My Avon Order

My family are always passing round the Avon book and I always have a quick glance but it isn’t very often I decide to order something.

But this time, I did!

I didn’t order that much because I didn’t have heaps of money spare to spend but the bits I did get were great value for money and things I couldn’t say no to.

The first thing I added to my order was the Magic Effects Diamond Shatter Nail Polish.

Every time I look through The Avon book, I always wonder what this would be like.

I had this idea that it set rock solid on top of your base varnish and stop it from chipping; but I was mistaken.

It’s a glitter based clear polish that has hints of blue and greens in and, I have to say, it is pretty stunning.

I used it earlier in the week on top of a green polish and it looked glam as hell.

It looks great on bare nails for a slight sparkle or to add some shimmer, just pop on top of a cool coloured polish.

The next thing, which I am super excited about showing you, is the True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipsticks.

Excuse the messy lids, they’re tiny sample sizes and so fiddly with sausage fingers like mine.

At the front of the book, Avon were offering three samples for £1 which I think is brilliant if you’re just looking for a shade that suits you.

The full size lipsticks are around £6 -£7 so this deal was great value!

They’re also branded as more matte than MAC but considering I have never used MAC, I can not comment.

The sample sizes are tiny but they will last a few applications and great to pop in your bag for a night on the town.

The bottom is shade Wild Cherry, middle Peach Flatters and the top is Ruby Kiss.

I think my favourite shade has to be the Wild Cherry simply because I prefer the purple/burgundy shades because I feel they suit me the best.

I have tried out the lipsticks and they’re soft and have a luxurious feel even though they’re pretty matte.

Just a photo of me wearing Wild Cherry to work the other day and it lasted for hours!

I put this on at 8am and by 2pm, it was just wearing off after I had been drinking and eating all day.

Not bad for a sample, eh?

Last up is the Clearskin Blemish Clearing Peel Off Mask.

I’ve been wanting to try a peel off mask for a while after seeing lots of videos on Instagram and seeing how good they are for blackheads which I struggle with from time to time. TMI?

But yes, I am no stranger to a good face mask but this, I feel, is something different.

I am a fan of Avon’s spot range already after using their products for years but I wanted to try something I hadn’t before.

I haven’t used it yet but I’m just hoping that it doesn’t irritate my skin like some masks can.

That’s all for now, let me know if you have any Avon favourites?
