What I Bought In The Boxing Day Sales

Hey y’all, I hope you’ve been grabbing some wonderful bargains over the past few days like I have!

As promised, here is my post on what I’ve been buying and where from.

Let’s get stuck in, shall we?

One of the pairs of shoes I picked up were these velvet beauties from New Look for only £15.00 down from £25.99. I used the gift card I got from some friends for Christmas (see post here) and they’re the comfiest heels I own!

This wasn’t exactly on sale as such but it was on rollback in Asda for a tenner (AMAZING RIGHT?!) and it’s perfect for NYE along with some pineapple juice, topped with prosecco…

This floral flirt is a halterneck playsuit with a slit down the front (link can be found here) and I love it! It’s not something I would usually go for as I like a bit more coverage but I think it will look great in summer. Another upside was that it was only £6 down from £19.99 from New Look.

If you’ve not already realised, I am OBSESSED with Polar Bears and I have had a lot of pyjamas for Christmas with them on, but I just couldn’t say no to these. They were the last pair, in my size on sale for £8 from Asda and they match my new cookie jar perfectly!

I’ve never been one of those bloggers to rave about Real Techniques brushes, simply because I could never afford them. But this lovely set was on offer for £9 in Asda so I thought I’d give them a try. I’ve been in dire need of some new brushes and these are the perfect replacements, especially as they’re in my favourite colours too.

I am a big big fan of velvet, I have been for years and I thought what better way to add some more to my wardrobe than with this grey lovely. It’s ever so soft, snug and very casual – perfect paired with skinnies and Vans. It was only £6 in the New Look sale and I’m even wearing it right now.

Yep, the Polar saga continues… But how CUTE are these pants?! I love the  lacey style and they look very comfy. They were only £2.50 from New Look and they also match some jammies I got for Christmas!

More shoes, yes I know but I’ve been eyeing these suede-esque boots up for ages and they finally had my size in! Might I add that they were reduced from £15 to £7 too so you can imagine my joy. They’re lovely, soft, comfy and from Primark.

I’m not usually one to buy jewellery from Asda but these were too good to say no to. I like the hoops because they’re simple and sass up any look. The more detailed droplets caught my eye because they’re quite boho and who doesn’t love some hippy accessories? The hoops were £2 half price and the droplets were only £1.

These goodies were again from Asda but who doesn’t love some good haircare products? I’ve loved Andrew Barton products for years, not just because they make your hair soft and nourished but because they smell divine. The SOS Hair Repair set was £4 reduced from £8 and the mini blonde box was only £2.50 from £5.

And last but certainly not least is probably my favourite dress of all time…

You can find the link to it here if you fancy having a nosey. But it’s a velvet skater dress covered in glittery stars which I just LOVE. I’ve wanted it for months and when I saw it in the sale, it went straight in my basket. This is from New Look and it was only £10 – the perfect party dress!
