Can you believe it’s the last day of January? No? Me neither! But February is a month of love and I for one, can’t wait.
This month I have been seriously lurvvvving certain beauty products so I thought I’d share them with y’all.
Here we are, there are not too many and a variety of different things chucked in there so let’s get on with it, shall we?
First of all, I want to talk about bathroom products – weirdly named I know but I can’t think of any other name that fits. Shower products? Gosh I don’t know.
There are only two in this category but they have made a serious impact on me!
First up is the Macadamia Oil Extract Conditioner. I got this as part of the Christmas Blogger Swap I took part in back in December and it’s seriously amazing…
I’m not sure what brand this is as I think it’s just from the pound shop or something but SERIOUSLY. It smells like heaven and leaves my hair ridiculously soft and sleek once straightened. And for a pound, like really?
The other bath product I’m loving is this big bottle of Snow Fairy, obviously from Lush.
I bought this when I was buying Jess’ birthday presents in the January sales for half it’s price – I’m sure it was around £6.50-£7? I can’t really remember to be honest because I bought a few things that day.
But it has the sweetest smell and I really do smell like a fairy when I jump out of the shower. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling wonderfully fresh.
Next up are my make up favourites which include a few familiar faces.
I firstly want to talk about my Real Techniques brushes (read my full post here) and how much I’ve been using them.
They’re so soft and very easy to use to blend both blushes, contour and even eyeshadow.
I’ve been loving Nivea’s Blueberry Blush Lip Butter too, it smells and tastes like a blueberry muffin and it leaves me lips feeling hydrated as hell.
I’ve fallen head over heels in love with L’Oreal’s Volume Million Lashes in So Couture, So Black.
I received this in a goodie bag back in October from Intu’s Autumn/Winter Fashion Event and I’ve only just recently tried it out.
The brush is almost like a comb and really separates your lashes to give you that volumised, fan look which I love!
The final make up favourite a nail varnish I won in a giveaway back in December. It’s Superdrug‘s exclusive Barry M shade, Icicle.
I’ve been pairing this with a white undercoat for a true wintery look with a touch of sparkle.
The last of the lot are products that you apply to the skin not to be confused with skincare haha!
As you may have read all about in my perfume post, Mad Love by Katy Perry is one of my new favourites.
It smells like Pina Coladas, lasts all day and gets me a fair few compliments. Just look at the bottle top too, a marble dream!
I’ve also been trying out Primark‘s Cuticle Oil after being advised that my cuticles need to be looked after (oops).
It’s helped soften them loads and keep then from growing out too much which is always a winner.
Last but definitely not least is Calcot Manor’s Hand & Body Lotion in The Perfect Day scent.
Kane bought me this as part of a set for Christmas (read my full post here) and I’ve been using this along with the hand soap almost everyday.
It has a strong citrus scent but it’s very nourishing and is keeping those dry, cracked hands at bay in the freezing weather. It’s also a hefty bottle too so I’m sure it’s going to last me a long while.
So there’s everything I’ve been loving this January and I hoped you enjoyed reading!
If you want to know any more about any of these products then don’t be afraid to leave me a comment or two.
