February Favourites

I can’t believe we’re nearly into the third month of the year and fading into Spring. Where has the time gone?!

It’s that time of the month again where I write up my Feb faves and there is a fair few this month.

Not only are there a good lot of beauty products but a few others too including a few fashion picks!

First off I’m going to start with my new favourite dress which I mentioned in my Mini Haul last week…

I wore this dress out to Nottingham on Saturday night and I felt so comfortable and pretty! It accentuates all my good bits and hides all my bad bits so it’s a winner for me.

It’s in the New Look sale and it was only £10!

Next up are these few miscellaneous bits and bobs…

I’ve been loving lighting my Berry Trifle Yankee Candle, especially in the cold and dark evenings to add a bit of ambience to our living room.

It has a sweet smell that gives the effect that I’m baking something delicious – it was the perfect Christmas present!

I’ve also been trying out a skincare routine and I’ve added some simple tea tree oil into my moisturiser and toner.

I’ve done this to help target my spotty skin and to help smooth out my pores. This stuff works wonders for your skin in small amounts.

I’ve also been wearing KISS Nails* quite a lot this month. Not only has it been Valentine’s Day (see how we celebrated here) but I’ve been to a bucket load of events and on nights out this month so these have been easy to pop on and look fab.

Although I’ve had these earrings since Boxing Day, I’ve only been really able to wear them a lot in the past month.

Like I mentioned before, I’ve been crazy busy this month and these add just a touch of hippy chic whilst not being too in your face.

I’m all into the boho look and these have been the first earrings I grab to compliment a lot of my looks.

You may have seen this either on my Instagram or in previous posts but I just adore this skirt. You can dress it up, dress it down or even wear it to work!

I’ve been pairing it with my fave green jumper and tights like right here.

I got it for Valentine’s Day from Kane and I think it’s so easy to wear, comfy and so in trend right now with the gingham pattern which I lurveee.

The next few bits are all beauty products, some I’ve had for a while and some are pretty new.

As you can tell, I love cool-toned colours of greens, blues and greys which I think suit me the best.

First up I’ll mention that this SugarBaby Vita Skin Lip Scrub is an absolute lifesaver! I get super dry lips in winter and this has been great for smoothing out my lips before applying lipstick.

The No7 Stay Perfect Amazing Eyes Pencil in Deep Green has been great for adding that extra pop of colour to my eyes this month.

As you might be able to tell, I love this colour in clothes so I’ve been adding this pencil in the corners of my eyes to match my outfits. Got to have them Pretty Green Eyes! C’mon, tell me you’ve heard the song?

I’m desperately trying to cling onto winter colours so I’ll be using this for the next few weeks and then putting it away for September/October time.

Another greeny favourite of mine is the Colour Corrector Concealer brush pen thingy.

I picked this up from Primark a few months back but I didn’t realise how to get the product on the brush. I pulled it out a few weeks ago and realised you had to click the bottom for it to soak into the brush and then apply. Silly me!

Well since figuring this out, I’ve been using it lots to cover up my red patches and spots, blending then adding my foundation on top. I’m loving this combo at the minute and I wish I knew about colour correctors a year ago.

The last beauty favourite of mine is this mini Technic Smokey Eyeshadow Palette.

I bought this back in December after picking up a palette for the Blogger Calendar Swap I organised and I’ve just loved it ever since!

For saying this cost me under £2, the colours are so pigmented and pretty, I just can’t believe it.

I love my bargain beauty products and this might just have to be my favourite! I love blending the dark shades with the lighter for a true smokey eye with a shimmery finish.

I would seriously recommend this palette and Technic to ANYONE if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful make up – I got this from Bodycare.

So there we are, this month’s roundup of all of my favourite things. I’ve also been loving cooking a lot more recently and creating my own concoctions. Tonight is all about the cheesy pesto pasta bake which smells heavenly cooking…

What did you think of my favourites this month? Do you have any you’d like to share?

*Received as a PR sample to review but my views are all my own!
