To be perfectly honest, I’ve been stuck in a style rut for a little while now; being unsure what to wear, how to pair items of clothing and what is my style? A lot of people I know have a certain style whether it be smart, preppy, grunge, punk, comfy or whatever else, but me? I like to dabble in a whole load of different styles.
Usually you’ll find me wearing a pair of Vans or Converse, skinny jeans, my FAAAVOURITE fleecy jacket and a cosy knit which is where this where this beauty comes in.
Tobi is a clothing website which sells a large array of different items including shoes and accessories, most of which are at a discounted price. They’re based in LA but they ship worldwide with shipping, VAT & custom charges all included which I think is such a good idea! There’s nothing worse than ordering from overseas websites and then having to pay customs charges when you go to pick it up – it almost makes it not worth it.
I received a few products from Tobi, one of which is this dreamy, chenille jumper which is as soft as a teddy bear.
One of the biggest positives about a cosy jumper is the ability to pair it with almost anything! As you can see, you can wear it with jeans and Vans for a casual look but you can also team it with a patterned pencil skirt and tights to smarten things up.
The colour of this throwover is one I’ve not seen round a whole lot being a mid green colour with light flecks through the fabric. I’ve been a big fan of chenille since it first made an appearance early Autumn and I’ve added a fair few pieces to my wardrobe including this jumper.
It’s ever so slightly cropped so it’s not going to cover up your bum, but it’s a flattering fit which cuts off just as your waist cinches in so you can see your curves! Being a curvy lady myself, I feel this isn’t too cropped to see any skin when you’re wearing anything high waisted so it’s just right for me.
The one thing I do like to wear with green is silver jewellery and this necklace is my favourite! Because I’m a fair lady with blonde hair, I think green suits me pretty well and the silver jewellery just emphasises that.
I like to wear a simple necklace and some small hoop earrings with cuddly jumpers for an effortless smart casual look.
You’ll hear more about some of the items I got from Tobi soon in a Valentine’s Day post so keep your eyes peeled…
You can check Tobi out on Social Media at @shoptobi too!
I received these products in exchange for a review but the photos and words are all my own.
